However, ウ is similar to the sound "u" [ [ɯ̟ᵝ]] and イ is similar to the sound "i" [[i]], however when a smaller scaled vowel appears after the previous kana (ィ); the sounds blend (so it's like u+i). That can be interpreted as something like "wi" or "vi". The word ウォー (war) for instance, combines ウ (u) and a scaled オ (o). In fact, this title might also be something like wiwin or "wee~wee~n"), similar to (Nintendo) Wii (ウィー). I don't know the etymology behind the name but because it's related to machines, perhaps it's from "[https://en.wiktionary.org/wiki/whee whee]", similar to having fun from a ride machine.
