Ayumi Hamasaki (Japanese: 浜崎あゆみ) is a Japanese personality. She is known as a singer, songwriter, model, actress, record producer, spokesperson and entrepreneur.
She has been given the nicknames "Empress of J-pop" and "the voice of the lost generation" since 2002.
There has been a Ayumi Hamasaki x Hello Kitty promotion with special merchandise, advertised in The Strawberry News/April 10, 2007 (No. 471).
