Sanrio English Master refers to both teaching material for young children, aimed for 0-8 year olds and the Sanrio recruitment campaign. It is scheduled for an official release in March 2023. Some of the preliminary materials are already available for free. Sanrio are hoping that they can get a big computer display monitor.

Description

Learning materials include shapes, and the English (英語) alphabet. Sanrio received more applications than expected, and want to recruit up to 10,000 people (with notification by email on updates).

Foundation

  • Sanrio English Master was formed from experts in English communication and developmental cognitive science; Kumiko Sato from NHK E Television (known for えいごであそぼ, "play with English") for coordination/leadership, and professor Kazuo Kai; majoring in baby science, developmental cognitive neuroscience, machine learning; and is known for Iwanami Shinsho's "The Mystery of Babies" (赤ちゃんの不思議). He is also known for Moimoi, Urushī, Moimoi and Keely (Discover Twenty One), as well as TV Tokyo's Shinapushu.
  • Three new mascots were created, Eddy and his friend Pita, as well as Mike the microphone.
