Sonic the Hedgehog x Sanrio
The Sonic the Hedgehog franchise has collaborated with Sanrio a number of times.
Plush toys, vinyl figures
As part of the 25th Anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, and also in collaboration with Toynami, a series of crossover plushes between Sonic the Hedgehog and Sanrio characters were released.[1][2] These were of Hello Kitty as Sonic the Hedgehog, My Melody as Amy Rose, Chococat as Tails ("Miles Prower" the Fox), and Bad Badtz-Maru as Knuckles (the Echidna).
Vinyl figures also from Toynami were released.[3]
Sonic Dash promotions
In December 2016, Hello Kitty, Chococat, My Melody and Bad Badtz-Maru appeared in the mobile game Sonic Dash. From April 28-May 3rd 2017, it was also possible to play as Hello Kitty in the game.[4]

- My Melody: 300 flowers (1 December 2016 - 7 December 2016)
- Chococat: 300 fish (8 December 2016 - 14 December 2016)
- Badtz-Maru: 300 XOs (15 December 2016 - 21 December 2016)
- Hello Kitty: 600 bows (22 December 2016 - 31 December 2016)
