Game Boy
The Game Boy (Japanese: ゲームボーイ) is a handheld video game console produced by Nintendo with support for cartridge games. It was succeeded by the Game Boy Color including support for colourised video games including many games that will mainly only work on a Game Boy Color or later model.
The system was highly successful, in particular it was sought after after the success of Pokémon franchise which featured games for this system debuting with Pokémon Red and Green Versions in Japan (localized overseas as Pokémon Red and Blue Versions).
