We Are Dinosaurs! refers to a 1992 Sanrio universe with dinosaur characters consisting of Tiran the tyrannosaurus, Ptera the pterodactyl, Tops the triceratops and Blacky the brontosaurus. Additionally, there appears to be a fourth "We Are Dinosaurs!" character based on a stegosaurus known as Stega who is not included in the picture for reasons unknown.
Biographies
Tiran, Tops, Ptera, Blacky and Stega are all described as healthy and funny dinosaurs.
Tiran is an dark orange tyrannosaurus. He is careless but strong and is a reliable leader.
Tops is a bright orange triceratops. S/he is proud of his/her three horns and head frill and is the most fashionable among the five.
Ptera is a blue pterodactyl who is described negatively as being nosy or meddling and as a "timeserver".
Blacky (formally a green character known as Bront) is a red, formally green brontosaurus who likes to walk and eat the leaves on trees.
Stega the stegosaurus is characterized by his/her dorsal fin. Stega loves flowers, all things pretty and has a kind and gentle personality.[1]

Apparently Sanrio released stuffed toys of the We Are Dinosaurs! characters excluding Ptera.[2]
