Balloon (Hello Kitty World, Famicom)
Balloons (Japanese: 風船, balloon) are objects in Hello Kitty World (Famicom); borrowed from Nintendo's Balloon Fight series, and specifically Balloon Kid and Balloon Fight GB.
In this game, Hello Kitty, Mimmy and Tippy travel across the sky using balloons. Playable characters Hello Kitty and Mimmy start with two, but one of their balloons can pop, leaving them with just one balloon. Using the B-Button, the player can also release their balloons (useful for later stages where it is better to jump).
Various stray balloons can be collected to gain points. Balloons also appear in the Bonus Stage, where Hello Kitty must collect rising balloons from pipes.
Hello Kitty or Mimmy can inflate their balloons by pressing down to inflate them on solid ground.
