My Melody's hood
My Melody's signature hood is usually red or pink. She received it as a cherished gift from her grandmother. It is influenced by Little Red Riding Hood, and My Melody stars in a play of Little Red Riding Hood called My Melody no Akazukin
On rarer occasions, such as special events she may wear a different coloured hood (such as blue) or a patterned one (such as the Union Jack My Melody hood).
