Mahou Shoujo Rion-chan, also known as Magical Rion-chan is a 2000s universe from Sanrio's Hong Kong subsidiary Sanrio Wave; themed around three magical girls empowered by a Hello Kitty plush, with the girls being themed around Hello Kitty, Badtz-Maru and Cinnamoroll.
The girls can play the keytar, drums, and bass.
In 2009, the franchise won the "Golden Dragon Award Original Animation & Comic Competition"
