The Mouse and His Child is the November 18, 1977[1] Sanrio Film adaption of Russel Hoban's 1967 novel The Mouse and His Child, directed by Charles Swenson and Fred Wolf.[2]

This film was produced by Murakami-Wolf Productions and co-produced by deFaria, Lockhart, Sanrio. The film was later released in Australia on December 18, 1980. It was also originally shown with the Sanrio Film adaption of Ringing Bell.
