Ayankey is a Sanrio character (also owned by Aya Matsuura and Up-Front Agency) introduced in 2003, and based on a fashionable pink monkey always seen with her make-up box.
Ayankey was created after Japanese tarento/celebrity/former pop singer Aya Matsuura (Ayaya) wanted to take a monkey companion out with her, so she collaborated with Sanrio to create the character Ayankey, named and based after her.[1]

- Fluffy Hairband: Fashion
Ayankey uses Ayaya’s make-up box to check fashion, and its heart headband can be used to check Ayaya's mood.
- Squiggly Tail: Love
Like Ayaya, Ayankey is considered to be skilled at love advice; and Ayankey uses her tail to analyze a relationship.
- Swinging Earrings: Tone
Ayankey’s heart earrings are used to check Ayaya's pitch when she is worried about singing.
