Little Jumbo is an early Takashi Yanase and Sanrio universe of a child and their elephant friend, Jumbo and Barū. It was introduced in a 1977 animation as a Sanrio Film, the same year as The Rose Flower and Joe. There is also a related picture book known as Goodbye Jumbo.
