Kingyodohonpo is a Sanrio universe introduced in 1987.
Profile
Kingyo-chan (goldfish) is a shy red fish girl, and the mascot of the Japanese goods store Kingyodohonpo. She will quickly hide behind the aquatic plants. She can only speak goldfish language.
Her personality (性格) entry on a modern redesign of the Japanese Sanrio character directory is 「百面相 」; but given the obscurity of this character the translation requires context, as it could mean both that Kingyodohonpo likes to pull faces, or it might refer to the Japanese expression for (having been through) the many phases of life.
