Line
Line (belonging to LINE Corporation) is a social messaging application primarily for Japan, produced by a Japanese subsidiary of Naver Corporation (a Korean company). It is available for smartphones, iPad, PC and smartwatch.
The application was designed to have its own features as well, such as games ("Line Games"; requiring an account), sending money, and shopping. Line includes its own selection of virtual stickers. This includes virtual stickers of popular characters such those from Sanrio and The Pokémon Company.
Line have their own original characters known as the Line Friends, created by Kang Byeong Mok as well.
