Lulu Kurun is a Sanrio universe, introduced in 2022. Their official release according to the Japanese Sanrio Character Directory is 2023. They were runner-up characters for Next Kawaii Project, coming in eighth place with 268,394 points (part of the final step).
Profile
The Lulu Kurun characters are based on pets who for which ever reason were separated from their owners. Even though apart, their owners are not forgotten; and they are always thinking about them. Lulu Kurun characters left the Earth to come to Angeland; a small island made of clouds, where they watch over their owners awaiting the day that they can be reunited. The title character Kurun is a laid-back and kind labrador dog.
