Mr. Miserable is a friend of Mr. Happy. He does not have his own core book, but was featured in Mr. Happy. He looks like Mr. Happy except that; in the original stories, he was depicted as very miserable.
Mr. Happy met him inside of a tree with a door on it, and he was depressed, until Mr. Happy made him smile again.[1]
Mr. Miserable lives in Happyland. Canonically, he said in Mr. Happy/Mr. Happy (cartoon, 1974) he is the "most miserable" person in the world; he would do anything to be happy. So, Mr. Happy was able to make him happy again. He even started laughing with immense joy. For Mr. Happy mirrored him.
