Roger Hargreaves (born on May 9, 1935) was an English author who would produce the Mr. Men and Little Miss books, of which the Japanese division of Sanrio now own shares in with their THOIP subsidiary (before this, Chorion acquired rights before selling them to Sanrio in 2011-2012).
Roger Hargreaves unfortunately passed away in September 1988 following a stroke. Some of the newer books in the series were later produced by his son, Adam Hargreaves.
