SanrioTown refers to both English and East Asian based Sanrio communities affiliated with Sanrio Digital and Sanrio Wave. It promotes and offers email addresses for the free-to-play massively multiplayer online role-playing game Hello Kitty Online.
Summary
SanrioTown is an interactive Sanrio website. It features forums, a quiz center, a blog section in which users can create blogs, a Dream Studio section to upload videos as well as a minigames section with Flash games (but as of December 2016 the page currently redirects to a maintenance notice). The system for creating blogs and sharing videos on the website is integrated into Hello Kitty Online. Additionally the website offers free downloads related to Sanrio and Hello Kitty Online.
Shutdown
It was announced that on November 1st 2023, the website would be shut down.[1] However, the website is still online as of November 15th 2023[2], and the domain name's registration was renewed. A good amount of the website's content was archived by various people.
