Show by Rock (Japanese: ショウ・バイ・ロック!!), stylized in Japan as SHOW BY ROCK!! is a Sanrio franchise introduced in 2012.
Summary
The Show by Rock!! franchise made its debut by Geechs as a rhythm video game for iOS and Android devices in association with Sanrio who own the copyright to the franchise. It received its own anime series in Japan with various sub-series.
In Show by Rock!! boys and girls dream to be a music star in a magical world known as MIDICITY.[1]
Contrary to belief, although Show by Rock!! is aimed at an older demographic, it is not the first Sanrio franchise to be aimed at that demographic; with the Fancy Friends universe predating it.
