Bibinba is a Sanrio universe, introduced in the 1980s. They are a group of islanders created by Sanako Nozawa. Bibanba has become infamous for portraying a racial stereotype, similar to Sambo and Hannah.
Profile
The universe consists of three tribes; the poor but happy/content Bibanba tribe with their own special culture (festivals, food, lifestyle), the Golanda tribe who live in a rainforest born from eggs, and the wealthy and peaceful Halabi tribe (who formally used to bully the Bibanba tribe).
