Onegai My Melody (franchise)
Onegai My Melody is a Japanese anime franchise, followed up by the novel Onegai♪My Melody High School~, featuring the popular Sanrio characters My Melody and Kuromi.
On their adventures, they are accompanied by friends such as Uta Yumeno (an ancillary character introduced in the original anime), Kirara Hoshizuki (the main protagonist of Onegai♪My Melody Kirara★), Prince Sorara Flat-kun and Piano.
There are four sub-series of the anime; including the original Onegai My Melody series which ran from April 3, 2005 to March 26, 2006, Onegai My Melody: ~KuruKuru Shuffle!~ which ran from April 2, 2006 to March 23, 2007, Onegai My Melody: Sukkiri♪ which ran from April 1, 2007 to March 24, 2007 and Onegai♪My Melody Kirara★.
The Onegai My Melody series received a short known as Onegai My Melody: Yū & Ai which was shown before the Jewelpet movie Jewelpet the Movie: Sweets Dance Princess.
