Box art of Volume 1

Not to be confused with Sanrio Characters Tiny Park.

Sanrio Tiny Park (Japanese: サンリオ タイニー・パーク) is a series of Japan-only video games featuring Sanrio characters for Windows and Macintosh.

It was originally released in four volumes through 1996-1998, but was later continued in various sub-series into the 2000s (such as Sanrio Super Tiny Park) and re-releases such as Sanrio Tiny Park Collection). The games are targeted towards young children, ages 2-6. Gameplay consists of various minigames with characters including Hello Kitty, Keroppi, Badtz-Maru, Tābō, Pochacco, Monkichi and the Rururugakuen. According to the box arts or jewel cases, these games were produced by Sanrio Co., Ltd. themselves.

Sanrio Tiny Park also features a display feature known as the Sanrio Tiny Viewer (Japanese: サンリオタイニー・パークビューア).

Sanrio Tiny Park: Volume 2 was also planned for the Pippin Atmark (itself based on a Mac OS 7.5.2 with KanjiTalk), but it is unclear whether it was actually released.[1]

Reprints

The four volumes of Sanrio Tiny Park were republished by Interchannel Holon on October 4, 2002 with newer box arts and a more modern Sanrio character design motif.

Sanrio Tiny Park Music series

A sub-series of the Sanrio Tiny Park series published by Ark Information Systems, for learning music with Sanrio characters.

  • Sanrio Tiny Park Music: ♥Osoto Asobou♥ (May 25, 2001) - Bundled with CD Kakumei Virtual Ver5 (Japanese: CD 革命 Virtual Ver5); software that eliminates the need for a normal CD-drive setup by storing data on the hard disk as a virtual drive, and optimises load speed.

Sanrio Super Tiny Park series

Main article: Sanrio Super Tiny Park.

Sanrio Super Tiny Park (Japanese: サンリオ スーパー・タイニー・パーク) is a sub-series of the Sanrio Tiny Park series which may be seen as a successor, released during the 2000s.

Badtz-Maru Sanrio Tiny Park series

A sub-series of the Sanrio Tiny Park series starring Badtz-Maru or marketed for boys.

Sanrio Tiny Park Collection series

Main article: Sanrio Tiny Park Collection.

The Sanrio Tiny Park Collection was also published by Interchannel Holon, but is not to be confused with the above reprints. These are actually re-releases of some of the elements/games from previously existing software, organised in a different way. Possibly all entries were sold separately in Japan on May 21, 2004.
