New Horizons posters. They crossover Sanrio characters with Animal Crossing characters.

Nintendo's Animal Crossing franchise has collaborated with Sanrio on more than one occasion.

In Animal Crossing: New Leaf

Main article: Animal Crossing: New Leaf.

In Animal Crossing New Leaf's Welcome amiibo expansion, Europe and Japan released interactive amiibo cards which add characters based on/with fashion style similar to Sanrio characters; namely Chai (Cinnamoroll), Chelsea (My Melody), Étoile (Little Twin Stars), Marty (Pompompurin), Rilla (Hello Kitty), Toby (Kerokerokeroppi). Furthermore, there are decorations, objects based on Sanrio characters.

In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp

The Sanrio Characters Collection promotion (July 11th, 2019-September 2nd, 2019) featured Cinnamoroll, Pompompurin, My Melody, Little Twin Stars, Kerokerokeroppi.[1]


In Animal Crossing: New Horizons

Sanrio amiibo cards can be used to unlock Sanrio posters in the game based on the package art of the Japanese Animal Crossing: New Leaf amiibo cards. This will include newer versions of the cards. [2][3]

In Nintendo Badge Arcade

Animal Crossing x Sanrio badges were released of both Animal Crossing and Sanrio characters together (or wearing each clothing from the other franchise) and furniture.
