Berry is My Melody's pink strawberry mouse plush toy friend. Whenever My Melody sleeps, Berry's company has helped her fights nightmare since she was five years old. Berry is one of My Melody's close friends based on mice, another being Flat.
In Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures
In the episode Kuromi's Sleepover of Hello Kitty and Friends Supercute Adventures, My Melody felt embarrassed that Hello Kitty and Kuromi would discover she was still sleeping with plush toys during the sleepover, thinking it was a too childish thing to do, so tried to hide Berry away from them.
Hello Kitty and Kuromi however knew that she was sleeping with Berry and welcomed it, knowing that a person is never too old to sleep with plush toys. In fact, Hello Kitty and Kuromi still sleep with plush toys of their own, Hello Kitty sleeps with Ribbons, and Kuromi sleeps with Big Bat and Little Bat.
