Cogimyun is a Sanrio character, introduced in 2015.
Profile
Cogimyun is based on a wheat flour spirit, known as a Kogimūna. Cogimyun wants to be a rice ball, but doesn't actually know what one is. According to the official link, her personality is 儚い (hakanai); a word with meanings such as ephemeral, fleeting, transient, vain and miserable; nevertheless she is very passive, pure, innocent; with the deepest hidden affection, especially for her food friend Ebifurai. When she feels too stressed or overwhelmed she turns into flour. Her grandpa is a manager of an apartment house called Cogimyun Housing Co-op inhabited by friends based on food (Cogimunists), although since he is travelling Cogimyun is now the manager. Her birthday is May 7th (powder day). Cogimyun also has a younger brother called Cogimyon.

- Cogimyun Hajimemashita Book Da Myun.. is a "Life Series" book with three free gifts; a pink Cogimyun bag called the Heart Window-Tsuki Deco Tote Bag, the pink Cogimyun KiraKira (Sparkling) Clear Case, and the Cogimyun Tezukuri Meishi (Handmade Business Card). Featured in the book is information on the Cogimyun x Shouta Aoi promotion, the Twitter project Cogimyun Cotaerumyun, and a message of support from Cogimyun.
- Cogimyun was one of the Sanrio characters for Love Nikki x Sanrio.
Reception
Cogimyun was met with positive response. For the 2021 Sanrio Character Ranking, she ranked 10th place.[1][2]
