The Devil appears in the episode Gamen Dekiru yo from the Hello Kitty to Issho! (animation) series, where it tempts Hello Kitty. Rather than a traditional Western devil, it moreso looks like a trickster (similar to Kuromi but a different character)/jester-type. His counterpart is the Angel.
