Lala is a 1975 Sanrio character who is one of the Little Twin Stars; a pair of Sanrio characters who look like young angels.
Lala was born in Omoiyari Star (also known as the Star of Compassion)[1] on December 24th (Christmas Eve) in the Yume Star-Cloud. She traveled a long way to Earth with her twin brother Kiki so that both could become "wonderful shining stars".[2].

Lala is a little girl with long pink hair (although it has also been shown as blonde). She loves to draw and write poems and is great at cooking. She can come across as timid and cries easily.[3]
