Princess Malta is one of the main characters of Sea Prince and the Fire Child. She is the Fire Child and became princess of the Fire Clan. In the story, Sirius the Sea Prince and Malta fell in love at the Forbidden Zone. Her mother is Hyperia the Goddess of Fire and ruler of the land.
As a Fire Child, if Malta enters the water she will pass away. She waited to meet Sirius during the eclipse of the sun which takes place every 90 years, so that he could climb the blooming Kalia Flowers on that day to meet her. However, Sirius was too late and sacrificed himself in the sun. Noticing this, Malta sacrificed herself too by entering the water to bring Sirius back to his home place.
