Mr. Tickle is the first Mr. Men character, introduced in 1971 as part of the Mr. Men and Little Miss franchise, which is currently owned by THOIP, a subsidiary of Sanrio.
The book featuring Mr. Tickle was created by Roger Hargreaves.
He is based on the answer to a question by Roger Hargreaves son Adam Hargreaves to 'what a tickle would look like'.
Biography
Mr. Tickle is a round orange male with a blue hat and extremely long arms. His long arms allow him to do tasks like make his breakfast without ever having to get out of bed, but Mr. Tickle has a bad habit of tickling others for fun.
In his book, he tickles a teacher, policeman, greengrocer, child, station guard, pilot, doctor, butcher and a postman. Mr. Tickle was never punished for his actions in the book, but has been in other media such as the animated television series.
