My Melody: Negai ga Kanau Fushigi na Hako (Japanese: マイメロディ 願いがかなう不思議な箱), formally known as MY MELODY 40th Anniversary during development, is a platform video game and digital colouring book for the Nintendo 3DS console, published by Nippon Columbia and featuring My Melody. It has only been released in Japan. The game commemorates My Melody's 40th Anniversary.
Gameplay
In this game, Kuromi runs off with a "wish-granting mysterious box" (Japanese: 願いがかなう不思議な箱). Gameplay involves completing various platform stages and chasing after Kuromi. The player is also able to colour in illustrations of items that they received in the game in Colouring mode. The player is able to play as multiple versions of My Melody with differently-coloured hoods.[1]

During development, there have been three or more prototypes, including trial versions. The MY MELODY 40th Anniversary versions also include a debug menu upon boot:
