Sanrio Wiki has moved from ShoutWiki. Account creation is closed to prevent spam on a company typically seen in the West for its children's media. If you want an account here (or to activate your old ShoutWiki account here) it is suggested (though you have free will) get your parent/guardian's permission to use the Internet, and contact EvieMelody (X, formally Twitter) re: account creation or article requests.
Note: Sanrio Wiki is not official and is not run by Sanrio Co., Ltd. or related parties. This wiki uses some low resolution content (images, short sound clips) to describe articles, under fair use (for the purpose of illustrating and describing an article only). All rights are reserved by Sanrio and related parties.
Sometimes this wiki may be a little slow, other times it is faster. This is likely server related. On such days, you may want to stockpile edits offline for later.

Nintendo 3DS theme
A Nintendo 3DS theme is a pair of interactive wallpapers (for the top screen and touch screen) of the Nintendo 3DS's Home Menu upon booting it up.
When the Nintendo 3DS was originally released, it did not come with the feature to change/support multiple Nintendo 3DS themes until a later firmware update in 2014 (Version 9.0. 0-20) added it and the Theme Shop.[1]
New themes (other than the default ones for the console) are purchased from the Theme Shop, but may have also been available through the My Nintendo rewards program or Nintendo Badge Arcade. Some of these themes come with background music, while others are quiet.
Many themes of relevance to Sanrio were released, but unfortunately a lot (of unknown proportion) are no longer available to buy, with for instance the European eShop not having them anymore during a search within the Theme Shop. A similar situation happened with the Minna no Nurie series in Japan; where those games were removed. However, users who had purchased these themes in the past can still use them (like the case with Minna no Nurie).
