Sanrio Days (2008 book)
Sanrio Days (Japanese: サンリオ デイズ サンリオに夢中だった少女たちに捧げます。, Sanrio Days: Dedicated to the Girls Who Were Captivated by Sanrio.) is the February 22, 2008 (and later republished) edition of the Sanrio Days book series about the earlier history of Sanrio by Mana Takemura (TimemachineLabo.).
The Sanrio Days books also have the label Sweet Design Memories.
The book features some valuable information, such as information about Sanrio's original characters (or characters they used with permission such as Horacio and Snoopy), images of some of the earlier merchandise, the first 261 covers of The Strawberry News, and the original PR release.
Due to its proximity to Sanrio's 50th Anniversary (2010), this book can also be seen with a "Sanrio 50th Anniversary" obi (paper wrapper), but an earlier version of the obi did not feature the Sanrio 50th Anniversary logo.
A second edition of Sanrio Days was produced as well with different cover art; for October 18, 2013, known as Sanrio Days: Ichigo Shinbun-Hen "Ichigo Shinbun" Kara Umareta Character no Himitsu ga Ippai featuring some different content and more pages (160 rather than 144).
