The Super Game Boy is an add-on cartridge for the by Nintendo, with an attachable slot for Game Boy games to be played on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). It was succeeded by the Japan-only Super Game Boy 2.

Among the most common enhancements for Super Game Boy games are an added border and enhanced palettes. There are a few other features such as enhanced sound, or direct commands to the SNES, but very few games used them.
