Toho Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 東宝株式会社, Tōhō kabushiki gaisha) is a Japanese company in the film, theatre, and distribution industries. It was founded on August 12, 1932. It is famous for the distribution of many kaiju and tokusatsu films.
Works relevant to Sanrio
- Sanrio Anime Festival (July 22, 1989 original series): At 58 buildings for the former National Toho Yōga-kei (洋画系) (Western-style) cinemas (these cinemas later became New Toho Cinema 2 and were again closed in 1995).[1]
