Kokoro Co., Ltd. (Japanese: 株式会社ココロ), also/formally known as Kokoro Dreams[1] is a subsidiary of Sanrio. Its name is the Japanese word for heart, mind or spirit. It is known for manufacturing animatronics, machines and robots, such as their flagship Dinosaurs and the Hello Kitty Popcorn Machines. They are also known for their 2003 android Actroid. On February 1984, Shintaro Tsuji (former president of Sanrio) also became the president of the company, but since his passing this has changed. Currently, Atsushi Ueda is the president and CEO, after Atsuya Yamada's resignation, but Yamada retains their role as vice president.
