Gil is the title character of the Sanrio Lyrica novel Hoshi no Ugoku Oto by Hisashi Sakaguchi.
Profile
Gil was born on the tropical planet of Noval to a nameless mother and father, and has a younger sister known as Min. Gil set off to Earth based on his deceased father's requests for his bones to be buried on the planet in which he was born (「自分の骨は生まれた星に埋めて欲しい」).
His father was an architect born on Earth who was working at Noval but sadly passed away in an accident. While setting off to Earth, Gil reminisces his past surfing in the sea and enjoying the tropical weather and breeze but psychologically tries to fight it.
