Hello Kitty Football Club 2002 is a Windows Hello Kitty football game tied in with the Sanrio Town website. It is 3D and fully animated. The game plays like a traditional football game with human players as well as Hello Kitty as an additional player for the KTFC (Kitty Football Club). My Melody, Minna no Tābō, Pochacco and Badtz-Maru (XO) also appear.
Sanrio Town members had the benefit of having their account updated for 50MB free storage for one year.
There was both a box version and limited version. The box version contains a box, CD-ROM and manual and was $19.49 for members (HKD $150). The limited edition version came with a Hello Kitty Football boot bag, soccer jersey, CD game, manual, and warranty card.
The game also featured online multiplayer, but is no longer functional. Another feature is the Players' Names Editor.
