McDonald's
McDonald's [sic] (slogan: "I'm lovin' it!") is an international; American based fast-food restaurant. Like KFC (though not owned in any way by any Sanrio branch), they have had various links with Sanrio; such as producing Hello Kitty Happy Meal toys, and there is even a Hello Kitty Sega Pico video game called Hello Kitty to McDonald's de Asobo! based on Hello Kitty working at McDonald's.
The Sanrio universe DokidokiYummychums was possibly inspired by McDonald's.
McDonald's Mr. Men and Little Miss promotion (1999)
Mr. Men and Little Miss plush toys were produced, but before Sanrio's acquisition of the franchise.
Sonic X/Hello Kitty promotion (2006)
A promotion for Sonic X launchers/gifts and Hello Kitty accessories at the same period of time.[1]
My Melody promotion (2018)
Drink and Potato Holder: My Melody was produced for McDonald's Japan.
Mr. Men and Little Miss 50th Anniversary (2021)
McDonald's released a series of toys of the Mr. Men and Little Miss, a set of special Happy Meal boxes, and two special books; Mr. Men Little Miss: Adventure in the Jungle and Mr. Men Little Miss: Adventure Under the Sea. Mr. Men Little Miss games were also released on the Happy Meal app, including (but not limited to?) a a boat game, another version of Be An Artist and a present cannon game. This was in association with the Mr. Men and Little Miss 50th Anniversary.[2]
