Unico is a Sanrio character, introduced in 1976.

Profile

Unico was created by Osamu Tezuka and appeared in manga from Sanrio's Lyrica magazine. It was since serialized in Shogaku Ichinensei.

Unico has also featured in the Strawberry Picture Books, and is on the front cover and in a poster in the August 1986 (No. 186) issue of The Strawberry News.

He is a baby, blue unicorn boy. He has a brown/pink mane and white fur on his tail and cheeks, with small swirly ears and brownish eyes. Unico is able to make others around him feel happy and free.

Corn is his older sister, and he has a nameless mother.
