The following subcategories are forms of safety warnings on Sanrio Wiki. The category is also used for articles themselves which have received a safety notice, and templates pertaining to the specific forms of safety warnings.

"Divination" also applies here as general term for any form of fortune-telling such as tarot cards, but also witchcraft, mediumship/necromancy (contact of the dead), crystal ball reading, palmistry, astrology and astromancy and many others.

ARS refers to "anti-religious sentiment" for articles which are religious; in the interest of families who find organised religion dangerous due to the negative aspects of indoctrination or radicalisation. Note this wiki is welcoming of both sides, with the founder being religious herself, but the notice has been kept to respect boundaries for people who do not want to be involved with such things.

The subcategories may also pertain to identities people are fighting for but are still receiving prejudice against, such as being lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender (LGBT). This may also vary based on the relevant country or nation. The founder is also a transgender woman herself.

This then raises a complexity (in my own subjective understanding) addressed to the masters/parents; the parent/guardian should not consider themselves more powerful/correct than the child; like the philosophy that when the baby cries, it is actually the baby who is in control; because it is only just that it should be comforted - it is its own master.

This latter (regarding LGBT) was to objectively include things which have caused divisions, but as the editor believing that LGBT is valid, I cannot be impartial; for that impartiality would be disingenuous and would violate my heart/ideals. Equally so, anyone who is justified and holds an opposite view arguably cannot be impartial either. Sometimes (in the opinion and shoes of the founder) 'protection' from the master really is prejudice masked under 'justice', 'logic' or a 'noble' cause. For example, before the Suffragettes movement it was the law for women to not vote; hence such things as women voting would have been seen as 'taboo'. Similar things would happen with racism and Apartheid, until the non-violent resistance of Mahatma Gandhi. Similarly, homosexual people have fought for their rights. Due to this; the balance of power will weigh on the one who is most oppressed, which happens to a lot of transgender children who unfortunately commit suicide due to lack of validation from family and society. I believe in due time the trans people will be better accepted. In this sense, 'protection' and 'anti-woke' is an illusion (and is really transphobia); as where there is prejudice any means of protection/control will be circumvented; it is the ones who are oppressed who will raise into power.
