• Hisato Inoue (artist): He created Badtz-Maru, Hangyodon, Turfy (design only) and many other characters. Also has worked for Inspace and Imagineer for Sanrio Timenet.

He has provided cover art for The Strawberry News/No. 138 (December 15, 1980) and The Strawberry News/No. 146 (April 15, 1981). In 1977, he was the grand prize winner of the third Sanrio Art contest.
